IPHC thoughts

Just got home from our La Union outreach. It was all fine and great!

Me and my team were able to minister to different families in slum areas. We conducted medical mission wherein we did Vital Signs, Wound Care, distribution of free medicines, skits and plays. We also roamed around some parts of La Union to minister to people.

Primary Health Care seminar is already over, but still i can't get over it. I met lots of new friends from different parts of the world who became special to me. We have delegates from Australia, USA, Guam and of course, Philippines. I must admit that it made me cry when we all part our ways; but on the other hand joyful because I know they'll be able to use these new learnings in their mission field.

I am still looking forward to see them though. whenever that would be, i do hope it'll be soon! :)

BENNY & JOON. I LOVE!

Being sick for more than a month made me acquainted with movies.
For the past few weeks, I entertained myself watching wonderful movies of Orlando Bloom, Bruce Willis and Johnny Depp.

I watched Kingdom of Heaven starring Orlando Bloom, Eva Greene and Liam Neeson. Twas a wonderful historical film although i read alot of negative reviews about it. I'll be posting my personal experience with this movie soon. I also loved  Elizabethtown, another  Olando Bloom movie, together with Ms. Dunst. will post review soon!

For now, i wanted to write something about Johnny Depp's BENNY & JOON. oh jeez, I SUPER DUPER MEGA LOVE THIS MOVIE. It is about a mentally ill young woman who learned to find her love in an eccentric man who models himself after Buster Keaton.

Johnny Depp's performance is beyond wonderful! He gave justice to Sam's character. If i would rate his performance 1 to 10, I'll give a 10!

All in all, this movie is BEAUTIFUL, esp on the last part when they are toasting breads using an iron. :)
